Welcome Message from Conference Chair

On behalf of the School of Cosmetic Science, Mae Fah Luang University, and as the Conference Chair, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Cosmetic and Beauty International Conference (CBIC) 2025 and the International Conference on Integrative Medicine (ICIM) 2025, taking place on January 16–17, 2025, at Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, Thailand, in both virtual and physical formats.

This year’s joint conference holds special significance as it is part of the 20th Anniversary celebration of the School of Cosmetic Science, Mae Fah Luang University. Over the past two decades, the school has grown to become a leader in cosmetic science education and research, and this milestone provides an extraordinary occasion to reflect on our achievements while looking forward to the future. This conference is one of the highlight events of our celebration, bringing together leading experts, researchers, and professionals to advance knowledge and innovation in beauty and health.

The theme, “Integrating Health and Beauty for Wellness and a Sustainable Future,” reflects our commitment to promoting good health, beauty and well-being, a key Sustainable Development Goal. This collaborative effort between the School of Cosmetic Science and the School of Integrative Medicine showcases the latest advancements in cosmetic science, beauty technology, integrative medicine, and alternative medicine. Through keynote sessions, oral and poster presentations, and engaging workshops, we provide a platform for sharing insights and fostering meaningful connections among participants from diverse fields.

As a complement to the academic program, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in workshops covering topics such as solutions for the future of beauty, innovation to release cellulite by shockwave therapy, scent & tip: the art of customer blending and hands-on massage for facial beauty and wellness. Beyond the conference, we encourage you to explore the cultural and natural wonders of Chiang Rai, from the White Temple and Golden Triangle to its scenic mountain viewpoints and tranquil hot springs.
